Breakfast at Ferndene
We offer a wholesome breakfast to all our guests, meeting individual needs as best we can, using local and Fair Trade produce whenever possible.
Fresh fruit, fruit juices, local dairy yogurts and a large selection of cereals are available in the dinning room. Porridge is available during the colder autumn and winter months.We serve a variety of hot drinks which include Fair Trade tea, cafetiere coffee, herbal teas, decaffeinated coffee and hot chocolate.
Our full large Cumbrian breakfast includes local Cumberland sausages, thick rashers of local dry-cured bacon, mushrooms, beans, grilled fresh tomatoes and your choice of local free range eggs.Vegetarian breakfast includes Cumberland vegetarian sausages, mushrooms, beans, grilled fresh tomatoes and your choice of local free range eggs.
Lighter breakfasts (e.g. poached or scrambled eggs on toast) are available on request.
